School Council

Meetings are held monthly at 7pm in the school staff room. Dates are posted on the calendar and meetings are open to everyone in the school community.

Responsibilities and Terms of Office

The main responsibility of the School Council is to ensure good governance, that is, that the school uses the correct process and has the best interests of the students/school in mind. The School Council’s main tasks are to participate in setting the standard for improvement; help select Staff; and approve the budget and monthly financial statements. School Council representatives are elected every year at the Annual General Meeting. The School Council consists of the Principal, Secretary, Treasurer, Council President and 2 parent representatives.
